You should go! I have been on the planning committee for all of my reunions. A lot of time and energy goes into the planning..we had 3 events and no one was expected to participate in anything they didn't want to...I am not a golfer, so I didn't attend that event.. so you just need to learn to say "no" to the things you don't want to do. No one should force you to do anything you don't want to do.

Remember, life is short...10% of our classmates are deceased.

Get your money in as soon as possible cause the committe ends up being on the hook for deposits etc.

Well, I had fun at my reunion last year (#35 - Ugh! Got you beat!). However, it was not just for my class, we had a joint one for all the classes of the 70s. It was great to see so many people there from the different classes and I was surprised at how many I remembered from classes before and after mine. This was the first one I have attended. Granted they only had one other one - #10. Keep us posted on whether you go or not.

I am glad you are back! I have missed your funny stories and takes on life! I hope you have a wonderful trip. When children are involved in a trip, I think you just have to go with it. You never know what to expect or how long it is going to take you to get there, but you will get there in the end with stories to tell! :)

My oldest son is a pack rat, and when he was 4 he was very his passion in life was to grow up and be a garbage collector. He explained that he would be able to get all kinds of cool stuff for free! I am sure your son will pick a career that makes him happy. He has a good coach! Oh...by the way...my neighbor plays video games for a living...seriously! He has been VERY successful at it, too. He started an on-line company in his early 20's that gives you cheats for certain games. He recently sold that company to a subsidary of ABC. My son thinks he is a rock star because he is one of the top ten Madden players in the world! And he has every video game known to man. Maybe you should not show this post to your son! LOL!
